I’ve been meaning to make a website as a place to showcase the ever growing terabytes of photos I’ve been compiling for quite some time now. I’ll start off short and sweet, my name is Preston and I’ve been taking photos and videos of cars since I was the age of seven. Starting out taking pictures at car shows on my fathers ancient SLR and eventually getting my own camera, a JVC video camera that recorded in 720p which was crazy at the time. I brought the camera EVERYWHERE in hopes of seeing and recording any sort of cool car I saw.
I would edit short videos of the cars I saw and post them to YouTube where I somehow accumulated over 3,000 subscribers and became a YouTube Partner. Looking back, I wish I had kept making and improving those videos as it was still the early days of YouTube and some of the people I talked frequently to on there have hundreds of thousands of subscribers now. But my interests shifted from video over to photography.
After a several year hiatus in high school, I finally picked up my old camera again and got right back in to shooting. Fast forward a couple more years, I’ve been upgrading my arsenal and advancing to the point I’m at today. From an artist’s perspective, there’s always room to improve so I guess that’s where we’re at today. Follow the blog and we’ll see where we end up!
